7 Rocks you should take with you when wandering

When travelling for work or play, most us also look forward to the adventure of it all, never knowing what we will find, our eyes always wide with wonder.

The most time consuming part of any journey is packing, did we take too much or not enough?

For us crystal lovers the question is what crystals should we take?

Here is a list of crystals we take with us on our adventures around the globe. To keep us safe and protected and aligned with our goals.


Has been used as a traveller’s protection crystal for thousands of years. In various cultures the Amethyst was and is still believed to guard travellers and bring inner strength and emotional stability.


This vivid green rock is believed to be a strong protector of children and also protects the wearer from accidents. Malachite is a high valued rock for travellers, especially those traveling by sea. 


A stone I carry with me whenever I leave home for more than a few days and one that is good for sea travel.

Moonstone is also thought to grant wishes and bring good fortune, now that’s a stone we would all like to have close by.


This rock is rarely mentioned for travel but it is one I carry when travelling long distances, as it emits a protective and safe energy.


One of the oldest protection amulets, and also known as a symbol of wealth in many ancient cultures. Brings strength, protection from harm, psychic sensitivity and connection to the spirit world. Turquoise comes in various hues from sea green to the Aegean blue sea. It is definitely best worn as jewellery whilst cruising the Mediterranean sea.


In our research it is said that in ancient times, Amber was carried by traveller’s for protection.


They say it is a rock of destiny! With its rainbow like hues labradorite’s ever-changing colours assist in aligning the soul to bring about synchronicities to take you where you are meant to go. Assisting to awake your intuitive side this makes it a stone for the wanderlust traveller.

Above all else use your intuition to guide you to the crystals, minerals and rocks that resonate and feel good for you.
